Haven’t been on here in quite some time; and funny how so many life changes have happened. First and foremost, my only child passed away in May, 2014. Afterwards, I broke up with my boyfriend of 9.5 years; then I left my job of 8 years and got another one (5 months at new job).

I was a lost woman with so many emotional demons to battle. But I was in it to win!!!!!

I have decided after a year of my Daughter’s death to get myself into gear and honor my Daughter, who had lost about 65 pounds prior to her passing away from working out on the daily, dieting, etc. She looked great on the outside, but on the inside she wasn’t doing well and passed away from congestive heart failure, which she inherited from her Father’s side of the family.

So here I am now, a regular at the gym 3 days a week (attempting to add another day, so far I’ve gone one week doing so). I’ve lost 21 pounds in 4 months via working out at the gym. I’ve got a gym buddy, who inspires me to continue going to the gym and vice versa (per her).

I watch weight loss journey videos on YouTube before I go to sleep to keep me inspired. Hey, whatever keeps me going, I’m doing it. And also, working out inspires me to make better food choices.

Why would I work out and sweat my ass off and then go eat something with 5,000 calories? I just don’t . . . but once in a while when I feel I’ve “earned” myself a treat, I allow it to happen. You should too.

Welcome to my journey . . . please feel free to invite me to be your friend.

Let’s motivate one another! We can do this!!!!!

Okay, so I went for my 20 min walk . . . now I don't feel as bad and I gave myself some time to put things into perspective. Now I want some California Rolls, they're filling and not too bad, calorie wise . . . ;)

Thanks for your reply my dear. Nice to know someone's paying attention to me in this arena, hehehehehe.

Cheers, Annette

Thanks for the comment on my blog! It's nice to know I'm not the only one losing a little focus.

No worries. We will BOTH get our motivation back!
