I was using Sparks 5K Running Plan which is almost like the C25K one. I am taking it slow. I have weight to lose and jogging on top of it. I am trying to take small steps as to not get discouraged. My kids because they are so young and in shape think I am slow. I keep telling them I am keeping my head in the game and not getting upset with myself. I am just beginning so I am walking 4 minutes and jogging 1 min. Small I know but I am optimistic!
Thanks for the post on my blog. Good luck working towards your 5K! You can do it! Are you using C25K? I used "the stress of my daughter choosing a college" to fuel my running! It worked! Now she has picked the college (luckily, NOT the one that cost $63,000 a year!) but I've kind of caught the running bug. It's really great for my mental health! Enjoy and have a great day!
