The real Barb is emerging little by little ..

Hello .. I'm not a dieter and I never diet and I hate exercise, so when a friend told me about this site, I checked it out. Then I decided to join and track my food intake so I can shock myself by how much I eat and how little I exercise. Building the discipline to just track the food is a challenge but i'm improving.

I don't care how much I weigh but I just want to feel good all the time. With three kids, a hubby and a fulltime management job I haven't had the time to take care ...

My biggest issue is not moving .. but I'm determined to get there!

My Goals:
My goal is to feel good and get moving and watch what I eat. If weight comes off in the process... YAY me.

My Program:
Currently trying to discipline myself to track the foods I eat to promote awareness and for shock value. Recently joined weight watchers to put the very big onus on attending meetings and tracking foods to my financial detriment if I in fact don't do it!!!

Personal Information:
I'm in Canada in Ontario. I've been this weight for almost 10 years .. so stable but heavy. I have a husband and 3 kids and work fulltime. Hence no time to take care of me and no consistent structure to fit in the exercise!

Other Information:
My Goals for 2012..

1. Figure out why the weight loss has stopped.

2. Get to my goal weight

3. Feel sexy

4. Run for more than a minute at a time

5. Run for more than two minutes at a time

6. Run for five minutes

7. Enjoy biking more

8. Enjoy myself more

Gratz on the new job. Breath through the stress and it will calm in time. Not sure about how to handle the mom issues but you'll find away. Keep pushing forward, you'll get there.

Let me know how you like the Fitbit. Will definitely inspire you to walk more. I've hit 10K steps every day since putting it on, I think six now.

So my friend, what kind of crazy active adventures have you been doing lately? Me, I am up to my arm pits in veggie garden harvests, exploring the surrounding towns with my son each week, sticking to my workouts & healthy eating, plus I managed to do 2 5k races in May & June before the heat & humidity overwhelmed us here. Daniel & I worked on building a veggie launching trebuchet today with his tools from his very own box. He cannot wait to launch some veggies into the neigbhors field across the street!

I will be honest I've had a few days my mojo has left not only my mind but my home and have done my best to re-evalute my schedule and listen to my body instead of being gungho about mega workouts. Mainly I am trying hard to enjoy the little thing in life and be grateful for all I've got.

I hope you've been staying busy and finding fun around each corner too.
-Suzy
