My goal is to return to my pre-hypothyroid weight, a healthy weight, and to be a motivation for others that are having challenges with weight loss.
I am learning all I can about nutrition and exercise and how my body works. I find this knowledge enpowering. During previous weight loss attempts it was kind of like walking blind folded but now my eyes are open, I know where I am going and I know how to get there.
I am using all of the Spark tools to help me reach my goal. The one thing that is helping me most is the tracking. The tracking helps me to adjust my menu so that I get the proper amount of sodium, carbs,protein etc.
I am not interested in just reducing calories and losing weight.I am taking the whole approach which for me means having the proper balance not only as it relates to diet and exercise but in every area of my life.
I love people! And, I love helping them feel good about themselves.
