I'm not at the end but I've already won

I'm 28 years old and unfortunately every since I graduated HS I've put on a lot of weight. I'm not happy with the weight that I am now and made many many excuses as to why I couldn't lose weight and when that didn't work then I tried to convince myself how I don't really look that bad. I can't believe that I've let myself go and how big I've gotten but that's not going to last for much longer. I'm taking control of my life, weight, nutrition and fitness, there are NO more excuses to be made I ...

This might not be an easy course that I'm taking and I'm sure that there might be days that I won't feel up to it but isn't that how life is sometimes? If I want to look the way that I want then I need to act the way that will get me there.

I'm down 55.6 pounds and I'm absolutely amazed at what I've been able to accomplish. I know for a fact that if I didn't have this site and the people here that there's no way I would have been able to make it this far. It hasn't been super easy but I've gotten used to this new life and I don't plan on changing. I find myself going to the gym not just for the purpose of burning calories for weight loss but to achieve fitness goals that have nothing to do with losing weight. I've recently decided that one day I will participate in a marathon and it's time for me to take running seriously because I know that I can do whatever I put my mind to. I don't know if I will be able to achieve this goal next year or the year after that but it will be accomplished and I'm excited to do it.
I have a goal weight date set for June 22, when I turn 27, so I have exactly 6 months left to lose another 48.4 pounds. I am confident that I can achieve it but if I don't that's ok because eventually I will.

My Goals:
I want to get fit and in shape for my friend's wedding in July 2013 which I will be a bridesmaid in. =]

I want to be able to work out 5 days a week, 3 days cardio and 2 days strength training. DONE! Started 5/17/10

When I hit 30 pounds lost and was under 200 I treated myself to a car alarm with auto start. A much needed feature for the winter months =]

My Program:
Exercise 6X a week.

M/W/F - Strength Training
T/TH/Sun - Cardio
