I have been struggling with my weight my whole adult life. I start something, do good for a week or two, and then fall off the wagon. Its a vicious cycle that ends now.

My Goals:
I am working my way to lose 70 lbs. I am tired of looking and feeling the way I do. I want to be able to have more energy, keep up with my kids, and not feel so tired and groggy all the time. I want to lose weight and have energy so that when I come home from work I am not exhausted and can do more than sit in front of the TV.


My Program:
I have tried many programs and have quit 2 weeks in. I have so many different work out videos (Jillian MIchaels Body Revolution, The Firm Express, Zumba,EA Active, Turbo Jam, 10 MInute Trainer, Slim in 6, ect). You would think with all those I would be fit...HaHa... I just cant stick with it. Right now I am working with a personal trainer/friend. She has created me an online program to follow and I absolutely love it!



Personal Information:
I am from Prescott, WI. I graduated from here and now live here with my husband and 2 boys and our dog. My oldest is 10 years old and my youngest is 2. I am into card making and photo's. I love hanging out with friends and family. I enjoy walking with my family, shopping, baking, and taking time to myself when I can get it. I am trying to get it through my head that losing weight is not going to be a diet but a lifestyle. I will get this down at some point in the future...the near future hopefully.


Other Information:
I like to read but only if its on my iPad. I love reading about modern romance and weight loss books. My favorite type of movie is comedy. I love to laugh and have a good time.

    I receive much wise counsel through the Holy Bible. Scripture is full of wisdom for all, whether they are a believer or not. Here is the wisdom I receive today as I prepare for April's focus on developing a willingness that makes me able to succeed:

    Isaiah advises us, "For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, 'In repentance and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength.' But you were not willing" ~ Isaiah 30:15.

    We miss out on good things in life when we are unwilling to cooperate in doing what is needful for achieving the good we desire. God through Isaiah tells us that our consenting to cooperate with laws, rules, guidelines, etc., leads to our eating "the best of the land" (Isaiah 1:18-20). Willingness to do what we must for what we want is a necessary mindset for overcoming temptation and the failure to achieve. Develop a willingness to do what it takes within the boundaries of what is good, right, and true, and you will go far in life.
