Fat developer seeks motivation...

I am a 29-year-old software engineer. I started my diet about a year ago weighing in at 230 pounds. I successfully lost 10 pounds and maintained the weight loss until about a month ago. My wife, Amanda (SparkPage: AmandaJean9871) and I have started walking 1-3 miles a day, which has helped me shed an additional 22 pounds (putting me at 197 pounds) when I started SparkPeople.

Just stopping by to wish all my friends a safe and happy holiday. Hope you all enjoyed it. I also hope you are all still motivated to move forward. We are entering a difficult season - back to school, thanksgiving, halloween, christmas, new years. So many parties and reasons to eat eat eat. I personally also have a tonne of birthdays this time of year. Remain focused. You can do this. You are worth it. Keep in mind, you can enjoy some of your favorites, just do it in moderation. Be mindful of what you are eating, and how much, and be sure to get in some extra exercise, and you will be fine.
