    Congrats on taking the first step into changing your life to a more healthier one by joining the site. Spark is filled with amazing people that will motivate, support and encourage you on your journey. There is so much to learn and discover here, take this one day at a time. A couple of things I would like to suggestion to make you Spark experience a great one.

    1. Make goals for yourself. Each month I make a list of what I want to accomplish that month and break them down to smaller goals to work with week by week. This way the BIG picture doesn't seem so big.

    2. Join Spark teams. There are tons of teams here and you will be able to find ones that fit to what you like or want in a team.

    The key to success here is to be active and you've already started by joining. You will find that everyone is willing to help you out if you need it. Spark friends are here for support, motivation and encouragement. Good luck on your journey to a healthier lifestyle! Again, welcome to the SP family!

    Welcome to SP! Right now I consider myself a SAHM. I haven't been able to find work in a year. Anyway, this is my 2nd time trying for a healthier me and I feel more confident this time around.

    I started a month ago with just wanting to use my elliptical again. I hadn't used it in years. Then I added healthier eating to it. Once I started doing those things it got me thinking about the real reason why I want to do this.

    I lost my Mom when I was just 23 years old. She was 60 when she passed. She had all types of health problems including diabetes, CHF, thyroid, asthma, etc. I realized that I don't want to leave my daughter without a mother at a young age. I'm also unable to play with her outside or inside, and too tired and always complaining of back pain. I'm doing this for me and her.

    Kids are the best motivation.

    I know you can do it. Just start with small changes.

    Please do not think about this as a weight loss plan . It is a healthy life style plan. Take a look at my spark pages no need to reply but I have so much interaction with my Spark friends this is my community.
    HUGS take car e and anything you need will be given to you if you participate just as if you are in someones kitchen or taking part in a book club discussion. COMMUNICATION goes 2 ways.

    The more you give the more you get in return. We are all looking for our healthiest most positive lifestyle here.
