I have been clicking that edit button for week now trying to decide what to put here in my introduction. I have so much to say that I am not sure what to say... The basic story is that I am busy mom of 4 children. In moments of insanity I wish I had one more. I work in Social Services and it is very frustrating and rewarding. I have been a member of SparkPeople since 2006 but have only been truly active the past month. My decision to truly commit stems from just tired of feeling to bad about myself. I have terrible self esteem and I hope that confidence is what I gain in this journey. I am extremely hard on myself. I have spent the past few years taking excellent care of my family and not myself. I am working on me and have decided that in order to be the best mom to my children I have to take care of myself and love myself too. Physically I hope to lose at least 50 pounds and look and FEEL good.

My Goals:
-to lose about 50 pounds -to be healthier -to be confident and feel good about myself! My self esteem is at an all time low and just want to feel good.
My Program:
Just trying to make good choices. I acutally have a pretty clean diet overall...I just have issues with portion sizes. I am trying to work in that. I workout at least 5 days a week. I walk 2 times a day at work and hit the gym for some cardio 5-6 days a week. I also strength train 3 days a week. I use the strength training program outlined in, The New Rules of Weightlifting for Women.
Personal Information:
I am mom to 4. I work full time inside and outside the home. I live in the Southwest.
