Struggled with weight issues my whole adult life. In October of 1998 at the age of 37 and at 337 pounds I decided to have a stomach stapling procedure. I lost 150 pound after almost two long years. This was without exercise. I drove an 18 Wheeler during this time so exercise just wasn't something that I could or would do. I really never reached my goal weight at that time. And then as soon as I lost that weight there were some family crisis that occurred and took an awful toll on my emotional being. I put the weight right back on. Again in 2011 I lost 80 pounds. That time also took awhile, I was still on the truck. And like anyone addicted to any substance, I fell off the wagon once again. But since January I think I feel like I am finally getting a handle on this. Now into September and have lost 90 pounds with around 75 to 85 to go. I will do this for good this time. NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!!

Fitness Minutes: 11,620

My Goals:
I want to be healthy, active and enjoy life.


My Program:
Heart Healthy diet.
I journal my food and exercise everyday.
Hit the gym at least 5 times a week.
My routine = 30 minutes on the elliptical machine
30 minutes on recumbent bike
So I get an hour of cardio.
Then strength training machines for 45 minutes to an hour. Then the absolutely wonderful pool. My absolutely favorite exercise.



Personal Information:
I live in North Alabama, but home will always be in Louisiana. Married for 31 years. No children. Animal lover. Have always had dogs but at this time in my life am only down to one little Shish Tzu. Considering adopting another sometime soon. But feeling like I need to concentrate on me for now.

    Thanks Gracie...I just couldn't give up. I felt like I had put all that weight right back on! I have only been journaling my food and exercise. I really haven't played around with any of the other things on here. I kinda feel like I have gotten a new toy. Which might not be a good thing emoticon
