Losin' It II

My story of weight gain and weight loss and weight gain is similar to the other stories you read on Sparkpeople. I lost 60 pounds in 2012 with Sparkpeople - but I'm back for round II after gaining it all back in 2013. The bad news: I can't blame the weight gain on a pregnancy this time. The good news: I now know how easy it is to let the weight creep back on, AND I have a fairly good idea of how I let it happen. Hopefully, I'll do a better job of maintaining after I lose it again!

My Goals:
The BIG goal is to maintain a weight in the 150's.

Here are my goals along the way:
Work meeting (3.7.14) - 225 lbs
Training delivery in TX(5.15.14) - 199 lb -
41st b-day (8-17-2014) - 180's
5 year anniversary trip (10-2014) - 170's
Run a mile
Start cycling

My Program:
Eat frequent, small meals (keep carbs under 150 grams a day) and exercise at least 4 days a week.

Hi Barbara! It is so good to hear from you! Glad you are back! I was away for a while myself, no worries just pick yourself up dust yourself and start all over again or as an old Costa Rican friend of mine used to say, " back to the draw board".

How are you and your family doing?

I started about 6mos ago with the Omni diet, saw one of my husbands friends had lost a lot of weight and looked great doing the plant based diet so I did some research about it and jumped in. I can't say it's easy, but it does work. Just need to keep my head in the game.

Hi Barb! Rainy and cold again emoticon I did a workout video yesterday and probably will do that again this evening. Skipping breakfast is lethal for me! Sure learned that the hard way. Hope you had a better day today!

Hi Barb, it was good to hear from you! I hope things are more settled for you now. Sorry to hear about the hubs job. We have so many friends going through things with the economy the way it is! I have gained some of my weight back also....blah! No good excuse, just totally went back to my old ways. I'm back working on it though and debating using medifast again. Let's keep up and encourage each other! Hang in there!
