Hi, I'm Barbara, 50 year old wife, mother and school bus driver. Married 25 years. Mother of 2 amazing boys ages 21 and 16. I consider them my life's greatest accomplishments. I'm also a mom to my 4 legged fur babies.. 2 lab mixes who bring me joy with their daily unconditional love.
Time to rethink my goal. After a recent phone conversation with a long time friend, I realized I am 7 months away from my 50th birthday, and since starting SP in 11/2011, I have not managed to really get control of my weight. With the big 50 on the horizon, what am I waiting for. So now my new goal is to be 199 by my 50th birthday which is 1/14/2013. After that, well, I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
I really need to be more consistent with tracking my food, I plan to choose good healthy foods and limit the junk. Adding in daily exercise and getting a good nights sleep.

Thanks so much for the comment on my Onederland blog! I never thought I'd receive so many comments, and I can't respond to them all, but yours stuck out to me! I am not sure how far away you are from Onederland (and I am not that nosey LOL, so I'm not asking ;), but I just wanted to say no matter what you can get there! I started off 72 pounds away and honestly, there was this little negative voice in my head that said "you can't lose that much"... but everyday for the past 16 months I challenged that mean voice everyday. Between you and me some days the voice won out, and I felt defeated, and ate like a pig or got lazy... but I had more winning days then losing days and that is how we get to where we want to be! I know you can do it!

As for tracking, I don't use the Spark tracker. I'm old school...I prefer to just write it down in my journal. But yes, I do track my fruits and veggies.
