Building Patterns of Success

I am excited and optimistic about the opportunity to renew my commitment to lose weight with SparkCoach. While I've had success in the past with sticking to a healthy food plan, my major goal is to spend more time exercising. Since I have to limit the time on my feet due to severe flat footedness, my primary cardio is the stationary bike where I an working to build my endurance.

Wt. Loss Goal: Attain a wt. of 145 lbs by my next birthday (Sept. 28). This is an avg loss of 6.7 lbs/mo.

Fitness:Attain 1000 fitness min in January

Sleep: Get 8 hrs of rest at night

I'm currently participating in the SparkCoach program to help achieve my wt loss goals. As part of that I am persuing the following goals currently:
Nutrition Goal: Hold daily calories within 100cal. of the low end of my range while achieving the balance of macronutrients suggested by SP.

Hey Barb...the bloody links only seem to work about half the time. You can always go to the D&A team page and the current week's challenge will always be the 2nd sticky topic in the Challenge goup. Hope that helps.

Hey Barb! Thanks for popping by. As for the strength training it can be any combo you want it to be. 1 set of 5 different exercises, 2 sets of 1 exercise and 1 set of three different exercises. 3 sets of 1 exercise and 2 sets of another exercise....the point is to get those muscles stronger. Totally up to you how you get that done! ALSO...do not have to be done at the same time. Waiting for something to cook? Do a set of wall pushups! Doing laundry? How about a set of squats as you load the machine?
