My name is Dan, I love to cook, drink good wine and listen to music. I also enjoy playing flutes from around the world.

My Goals:
1. To get to 215 pounds by Aug 29, 2012

2. To be patient with my weight loss and not expect huge losses every week

3. To not let one failure dictate my day, week, or entire plan to get healthy

4. To get off my meds for sleeping.

5. To stick to my calorie range of 1700-1900

6. To do at least 30 minutes of cardio at least 3 times a week

7. To do strength training exercise at least 3 times a week

8. To log on to spark people every day

9. To get to 185 lbs by Aug 29, 2013

10. The most important thing I can do is to write down everything I eat every day. No cheating, no forgetting. I also need to move every day. No more couch potato!


My Program:
Being patient and forgiving with myself. Tracking what I eat and if I exercise daily. Not ignoring what my body tells me. I'm taking things one day at a time, so the program is a work in progress -

**counting calories (1700-1900)
**drink at least 8 cups of water/day
**weigh-ins on Mondays and Fridays If it goes up I will do something about it immediately if it goes down it will be cause for a small celebration!

Do cardio exercises at least 3 times a week - .

Do strength training exercises at least 3 times a week.

Log on to spark people every day to log what I eat to keep my calories in control.
