It is hard sometimes, huh? Especially since I tend to emotionally eat a lot and justify a lot of stuff when I am sad. But I'm glad to stop the down hill slide. It gives me something else to focus on.

thanks for the comment on my blog, things are slightly better, as in, the weather has warmed and i have been taking her outside more. she seems to be learning what no means and well, when she does have a momentary lapse in memory, thankfully its been on the hardwood.
lol
i am thinking hardwood is going down in all my rooms this summer.
i know exactly what you mean about the teeth and claws, i dont think i own a pair of socks now that arent ripped to pieces.

Hope you have a fun ride!! I did not know about Detroil Lake - and I grew up in Oregon. In the late 50's I spent a couple of summers on Huckleberry Mountain east of Eugene at a fire lookout. The first summer our daughter was 6 weeks old when we went up and the next summer she learned to walk on the trails.

We have some of the most beautiful areas here in our state. Just know you will have a good time. So stay safe and let us know how the trip goes.
