Getting Back in Shape for Good!

I'm 43 years old, married, with 2 sons (an 8 year old and a 2 year old). I've been focused on working, getting pregnant, and taking care of my kids for the past 9 years. Unfortunately, I didn't do a good job of taking care of myself during those 9 years. I went from an active, in-shape, woman to an overweight, out-of-shape mom. I'm tired of dodging family photos and being on the sidelines at the pool.

It's time to get my confidence back!

On July 12, 2014 I am starting a Year-of-Fitness Goal for myself. I am pledging to do 365 days of consistent exercise. (It can be as little as a 20 minute walk but I will get some sort of intentional physical exercise done each day.)

Avoid Fast Food/Junk Food!

Start running again!

Challenge myself to complete 365 Days of Fitness!

My Program:
I will do 20 min to an hour of deliberate cardio exercise each day. I will add some weight training sessions 3 nights per week.

I will eat 5 or 6 small carb/protein balanced meals per day.

I will drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day.

I will eat more fruits, veggies, and "live" foods.

Personal Information:
I'm a 43 years old.

I am married and a mommy to 2 sweet little boys.

I live in Orange County, CA

Congratulations on your loss of 1.6 pounds. I am a slow loser too, and have put on some weight since starting exercise. I am hoping to make it back to 125 before cheat day next Sat.
