I know about the holiday thing...same here but...think of it this way..It's a good time to start the NEW YEAR! I'm going to be shameful, and enjoy the holiday, and start working back for after. My goodness we'll drive ourselves nuts trying to figure WHAT we can and can't have. I have "modified" my recipes best I can cause I'm doing the cooking this year, and eat in modaration, but that is all I can do. But we CAN do it!
Don't forget your breakfast and drinking your water!!! It will help cut down the "splurging" and you can at least feel somewhat full when you sit down and eat. That way...you may just surprise yourself that you might not eat as much as you think. we're human..and we DO have those weaknesses...Try taking a walk after you eat...that might make you feel better than brooding what you ate for the holiday.. I've set those little goals in mind and I think that will help you through the holiday...
