ANY time is a great time to start...especially with Sparkpeople. Give yourself a big hug for making this positive choice for yourself. Take your time to explore all the resources available for you here. It can seem overwhelming because there are so many resources to choose from. Two to consider using are the Nutrition and Fitness Trackers. Also, check out Spark Teams under the COMMUNITY Tab. Do searches on your goals, interests, hobbies, whatever. Then join one, two or more Spark teams. You'll enjoy getting to know these folks and giving and getting lots of encouragement along the way. It's all good. Enjoy the journey!
Thanks for the messages! You all made mr feel right at home! I hate to admit it but I've gone over my caloric goals the past few days and I am feeling a bit blue. But I did make my exercise goals. Any tips? Should I rework my goals to allow myself more than 1200 calories a day and be satisfied with a longer term of weight loss? Am I setting myself up for defeat or do I need to buckle down and see if I can do a better job? I appreciate any and all of your advice and feedback. Thanks, Joan 1301 days ago
