Losing Weight to Feel Better

I am done being overweight.
I want to lose 30 lbs for the following reasons:
1) I want to look fit, and feel fabulous - energetic, positive
2) I want to find clothes easily while shopping
3) I want to wear a bikini by summer 2013
4) I want my body to be conditioned enough to go skiing, or take on a sport without injuring myself.

Hi there! I want you to know that I think you have very attainable goals for 2012 :) Temptation is out there and is certainly more than difficult to overcome. I think you should just focus on one day at a time. The beauty is that each day you start with a clean slate and you can learn from the mistakes you make one day and try better the next day. No one who has ever lost weight and gotten their dream body has done so without slip ups every now and then. A good quote to live by is this: "Success seems to be connected with action. Successful people keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don't quit"
-- Conrad Hilton.

There are going to be times when you just don't want to - I know over the last 6 months I have had MANY of those times. It's a marathon, not a sprint. The thing is - it's not about how quickly you reach those goals but that you DO reach those goals. I believe in you and I know that you can do anything that you set your mind to. So buckle down, come up with a plan that you KNOW you are going to stick to and that pushes you to go beyond your comfort zone -- just remember "Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!" - Neale Donald Walsch

Good luck with your journey - and if you need support, I'm here :) emoticon emoticon emoticon
