What have you got to lose?
Hi everybody, my name is Shawna. My weight issues began in college, where I ate a lot and never had much time for exercise. I graduated college at 200lbs, and I'm currently hovering around 150. I don't have a specific weight goal...maybe 140, maybe lower. I believe in losing weight slowly, so you make diet and exercise a habit for life, and not just a "means to an end." My ultimate goal is to lose enough weight that my stomach doesn't spill over my jeans. I've never been "thin" ...
Hi everybody, my name is Shawna. My weight issues began in college, where I ate a lot and never had much time for exercise. I graduated college at 200lbs, and I'm currently hovering around 150. I don't have a specific weight goal...maybe 140, maybe lower. I believe in losing weight slowly, so you make diet and exercise a habit for life, and not just a "means to an end." My ultimate goal is to lose enough weight that my stomach doesn't spill over my jeans. I've never been "thin" but my huge gut is simply unhealthy. When my body tells me that I'm at a healthy weight (ie, the stomach is gone), I will work hard to maintain that weight for life. My motto is: "You can be sore tomorrow, or sorry tomorrow." When you're deciding whether or not to exercise, go for it. No matter what you do, it's more than sitting on the couch!

My Goals:
1: Lose the gigantic "spare tire" around my stomach 2: Slim, strengthen and tone all over 3: Feel good about myself and start looking pretty and feminine again! 4: Go down 1 cup size. I'm a 32DD now, and I'd love to be a D again. 5: Keep the weight off!
My Program:
1: Smaller portions, spaced out for 3+ hours 2: 2+ hours of cardio 6 days a week!!!! 3: Track all exercise 4: Learn to reward myself with things other than food! Much more easily said than done! 5: Find ways to enjoy exercise!
