Hi I am Carol. I have been overweight since grade 12. Weight went on partially from meds and pregnancies while on those meds. But I am taking a NO EXCUSES attitude to my journey. With an upcoming trip and a family wedding in the future I find a renewed sense of motivation. I know I can do this....LET"S DO IT!
I have recently received my license to subtitute teach in local schools. I am working part time with my husband while the kids are at school. I am finding it difficult to manage my time between the house, kids, work, outside responsibilities, much less getting much ME time.
I am currently have 25% of my total goal lost. I am SO DONE being the person in the mirror I hate to look at. I want to be a confident person.
I seem to have gotten lost over the last 6 weeks and my weight loss has greatly slowed down. I intend on regaining momentum and taking back my control of myself!

My Goals:
I have decided to reward myself at every 20lbs loss with colourful hair streaks.
Goal #1 to be under 200lbs. by end of May 2015.
Goal #2 I want to be down 50lbs, which would be 187lbs by the end of summer 2015.
Goal #3 I would like to reach 150lbs by February 4, 2016.
I am marking my total loss from 237lbs that I weighed in at when I started Ideal Protein, even though I weighed 247 according to my doctor before Christmas.


My Program:
I am doing Ideal Protein with my daughter and Mother-in-law and tracking on Spark.
I plan to start walking as soon as the snow has cleared off of the track. Even found a walking buddy.
I am going to make sure 8 is a miniumum amount of glasses of water I drink a day.



Personal Information:
I am a mom of 5. I work for my husband's land surveying company. I also volunteer some, not as much as previous years, but only beause of my health.
I am married to my high school sweetheart. We are a typical family and currently 3 of us are trying to lose weight. I am trying to feed the younger kids the same food as we are eating to try to teach and enforce healthier eating habits.


Other Information:
I am realizing how fabulous some people in my life are. I always knew...but now I KNOW! I love my family and friends with a power that even surprises me!
