I really thought I hated to exercise, but I started walking and found that I feel so much better after a good walk. I concentrated on getting control of the food first, but I really should have started walking sooner...start slow...if you just increase the time by a few minutes every few days, before you know it you will feel like walking more...good walking shoes really help with keeping the pain down...I use Sports Cream on my knees if they start to ache. I think the main thing is not to push too hard (speed or distance) when you start. It's better to walk longer at a slower pace than shorter and faster...at least, that's what I've read. My treadmill has been a life saver...with the weather we are having I could not safely walk outside. Take care...good luck...Sharon / IN
