Feeling Beautiful
I joined Spark because I want to look and feel better. I'm determined to change my bad eating and health habits. I'm newly single and I live in a fairly small town in Northern Manitoba. I work in the mining industry as an engineer in training. My favorite passtimes are fiber related - I knit and spin my own yarn. I like to belly dance and I'm trying to get into pilates to improve my muscle tone. I've also taken up running. Goal 1: 10 lbs lost - met 07/17/2010 ...

Goal 1: 10 lbs lost - met 07/17/2010 Reward - 8oz of merino cashmere fiber in colour 'Eggplant' Goal 2: 20 lbs lost - met 09/05/2010 Reward - iPod touch 09/12/2010 No longer obese and ran 5km (running only, no walking!) for the first time Reward - 3.5oz of sparkly fingering weight yarn This reward didn't actually turn out so I'm going to have to think of something. Goal 3: 30 lbs lost - goal met 10/26/2010 Reward - Miche bag Goal 4: 40 lbs lost - goal met 12/07/2010 Reward - maybe the large pile of clothes I bought myself? My Goals:
I want to feel better about myself. I have 60 lbs to lose which seems like a lot right now but I'm trying to break it down into 10lb increments. I've recently decided that I want to run a 5K (it might turn into a 10K) in the summer of 2011.
My Program:
Right now I'm just aiming to eat better and move more. I've taken up running, I'm doing the 30DS and just trying to fuel my body with the best food I can find.
