So I turn 30 in July and not only am I excited, but I'm more motivated about my weightloss journey. When I met my husband seven years ago, I told him then that I'm going to be hot when I'm thirty and I want to keep that promise for myself, him and for our new bundle of joy.

WHY ITS FOR ME: I want to enjoy life without having to cover up and always be the one taking pictures of family and friends enjoying themselves. I want to be photographed. I don't want to shy away from mirrors. I want to meet a version of myself that could run a 5k. I want to be unstoppable.

FOR MY HUSBAND: Well, after almost 4 years of marriage (7 years of awesomeness) I want to look HOT for my hubs.

FOR MY BABY: Because of my weight, people were surprised when I told them I was pregnant! I'm five foot even, 170 pounds and didn't show. I wanted to have that "glow" and instead felt miserable.....to top it off, I was diagnosed with PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension). My doctor put me on a low salt diet and strict bedrest.....In the end, I had my blessing at 31 weeks, 5 days gestation. She was born 3 pounds, 4.6 ounces and had to be in the NICU for 43 days! I know I want her to have the joy of having siblings and while its a far away goal.......I'd want my second pregnancy to be healthier and be able to carry my baby to term. I need to change my life NOW otherwise my baby (and future babies) will see a very sick mom.

My Goals:
1.) Hit goal weight of 135 pounds by March 2013:
the breakdown:
- lose 15 pounds by 30th birthday (July)
- lose 10 pounds by first 5k (November)
- lose last 10 pounds by March

2.) Run first 5k in years in November 2012

3.) Run a mile in 10 minutes


My Program:
Keep it short and simple

Run/walk your way to a 5k - plan 3/4 times a week

Strength training with ab work 2x a week

Stretch daily
