A new year, a new excitement. God has really taught me so much over the last 9 months. For me, I learned that I would never have the willpower to do this on my own. I needed God-power! God has made such a change in my life. In the last 9 months of 2009, I lost just under 93 pounds. That is amazing to me! I can't wait to see what he has in store for 2010!
I am alive and on track! On 03/31/2009, I made a decision that changed my life! I decided that I couldn't do this alone. I know I had SparkPeople, and I love Spark, but I needed a physical support group too. A group that addressed more than just my physical needs. I found myself at an OA meeting and it felt just like home. I am recovering! God is so good! Only through Him can I do this. It isn't a now journey. It will be a lifetime journey and challenge, but the awesome thing is that God will always be there! So with God's help, I have learned that when you trust in Him, He will show you the way! Lastly, I need to always remember... If the problem isn't hunger, than the answer isn't food!!!
It is amazing how time flies. I still have hope and haven't given up, but my goals have changed slightly. I'm not pregnant with baby #2 and doing all I can to try to make the best decisions I can. I'm 14 weeks preggo and it has definitely been a struggle. I'm looking forward to meeting this precious little one and then to get back on track with new determination and motivation!
I've been on Spark for just about a year. Actively on Spark since January. With more than 50 pounds gone this year alone, I feel like I am actually going to get there. Yes, I've had my issues...especially with the back pain I've been suffering. However, I know that someday, I am going to see ONE-DERLAND!
I have 175 pounds to lose. I've never been that thin and don't know if I will get there. I know that every pound I lose those is going to make me healthier. I want to be around to play with my little girl for many, many years and I won't be able to do that if I'm not healthier. So, here I go!
To be healthy; To be able to play with my kids; to achieve a weight I've never seen before!
Eliminate all flour, sugar, artificial sugar, caffeine, soda, and starchy vegetables from my diet.
Exercise at least 3 times a week for at least 40 minutes.
Drink Water! Lots of It!
