I was not new to losing weight, but I was new to losing it at 28 years old. The body certainly goes thru changes after the teen years!

I have been having issues with my body for some time now, vacillating between feeling "small enough" at a size 16 to feeling mountainous. At some point I kept feeling huge and realized that something had to change. That something was me!

I joined SparkPeople and didn't even use it for a year. When I finally did start, the weight just started coming off! So far about 40 pounds have come off, and I look forward to saying goodbye to the next 20.

Now I use Body for Life, in my 3rd 12 week challenge (August-October). I expected to only get down to a size 10 and am about to head to a 6 soon. I am enjoying working on a 6 pack for the first time in my life. Here's to reaching goals!

Hi! Thanks to your encouragement and persistence, I tracked my food today. What a rude awakening that was.
