I found SparkPeople on August of 2008, when I stepped on the scale and realized I was at my heaviest point ever (even when I was pregnant)! Time to get down to business! I lost my dad at the age of 55, and that scared the living daylights out of me! I could get hit by a bus tomorrow, but I want to know that I did everything that I could to take care of myself and live a healthy lifestyle. For not only me, but my kids and husband.
I joined WW on Jan 23, 2013. I now have lost another 17lbs, for a total 26lbs from when I joined SparkPeople. You all are helping me do that! Thank you, way in advance!! :)

1. Eat off of a salad plate for dinner (it's the one meal I overeat).
2. Drink lots of water...it's my choice of drink.
3. Workout AT LEAST three times a week, strength and cardio.
4. 25 crunches.
5. Measure myself 2 times a month.
6. Weigh once a week.
7. 25 wall squats with ball
8. 25 pushups with ball
TURBO FIRE!!! LOVE IT! I hate when I miss workout. We got a new basketball goal for Christmas 2011 and so we spend a lot of time outside (weather permitting) shooting the basketball. I had lost 9lbs (fluctuating between 9 and 15lbs lost)since I joined SP. I joined WW on Jan. 23, 2013 and so far, it's been successful. Up to this point, I have lost 17lbs more lbs. Going strong and have no intentions of stopping there!!! :-)
My name is Amy and I am 39 years old. I have 3 beautiful children ages 10, 9, and 7 and a wonderful husband of 14 years (Phew!) on Sept 24th. My father passed away 9 years ago with diabetes and heart disease. It has terrified me so much it makes me think about things in a whole new perspective.
I love being with my family, reading, playing in my yard (yes, yardwork), and getting outdoors. Love spring and fall, and hearing the laughter of my children. LOVE to cook! I am a 3rd shifter, so sleep isn't 2nd nature to me, and I'll take it when I can get it, but I love it!!!
