2014 is my year!

One day at a time. That is my motto for this journey. And this time I mean it!

Something that stuck out to me while reading Sparkmail from ELIZRN in the Sugar and Food Addicted team:

I am always free to choose to stop doing what I am doing.

I am always free to choose to break old habits and patterns.

I am always free to chose to change anything and everything.

I am the writer, the producer and the director of my life. ...

My Goals:
My first real goal is to log in to Sparkpeople every day and start setting the habit that this is what gets me through this.

Secondly, I want to say "SEE YA" to my beloved Diet Coke.....I want to drop that habit and nourish my body with water, water and more water.

My Program:
I am using the Sparkpeople.com site to it's full advantage! Without the use of this site and all the fellow sparkers, I would be lost.

My calorie range is set for 1200-1500. I would like to stay close to 1200 in the beginnings here and try to move up as my workout routine becomes more advanced.

I am taking my vitamins, drinking my water and trying to eat as much raw veggies and fruit as I can. I want to work on eating a more natural diet. Sticking to dairy, lean meats and produce.

Personal Information:
Living in SoCal, I am a SAHM of 2 and married to the love of my life.

Other Information:
I am getting used to the fact that I am a food addict and an overeater. These are things that I think a lot of us can relate too. With this battle going on I am really trying to focus on getting my mental health in order first and bring along the body side of it.

“To me, the definition of focus is knowing exactly where you want to be today, next week, next month, next year, then never deviating from your plan. Once you can see, touch and feel your objective, all you have to do is pull back and put all your strength behind it, and you'll hit your target every time.” ~ Bruce Jenner
