Healthy Lifestyle One Choice at a Time

I have been a yo yo dieter for most of my life, it's become tiresome and I don't want to do it any more. It has taken time to realize that I needed to change my attitude towards food and understand that diets do not work. Now, I am committed to a healthy lifestyle for the long term. My Goals:
Eat healthy real food.
Be more active.
Self improvement.
Focus on replacing bad unhealthy habits with good healthy ones for the long term and the excess weight will take care of itself.

My Program:
I have greatly reduced processed foods from my diet and replaced them with lots of in season fresh fruits and vegetables. I am soda free since August 2013.

September 2013, I began a gym workout program which includes Cardio, Strength Training, Fitball, Bosu, Mat and Flexibility exercises of which I do 3 - 4 times per week.

October 2013, I walked my first 5K. Who knows maybe next time I will walk/jog it!

I love animals and have several kitties.

Ava I'm so glad to hear you are doing great and have a good mindset this round. I am a Honey Badger again and love it! I did OK last round, but the holidays did me in and I gained everything I lost. I am really going to push myself this round, and get closer to my goal. emoticon
