Glad you're going to join us! It should be a lot of fun. Last year at this time, if you said I would be training for a triathlon now, I'd have said you were nuts. But I'm doing it! And you will too.

If your pool is 25 yards, it's 20 lengths for 500 yards

I know it's been awhile, but thank you so much for your comment on my Relay for Life 2011 blog. It was very much a success, my team raised over $7200! I have a wonderful core group of "Angel Organizers", and our goal for next year is to raise at least $15,000! Our team motto is:

We do this because our wish is that one day soon, whenever someone hears the words, "You have cancer," it will immediately be followed by "But we have a cure for that!"

Thanks for the encouragement, Leenda....But, truth be known, the running is so incredibly hard on my hips and knees that I haven't done it in a while. I do a very fast walk at a 12-15% incline which burns calories like crazy and tightens up my arse and calves. I love to run, but, I abused my body for too long and suffer for it now.
