I happened to find SP while searching the internet for a nutrition journal to use last year. This place is awesome! Unfortunately, my attendance is sporadic, I will come for days or weeks at a time and drop out for months...hence not accomplishing any goals consistently.

Looking forward to taking off 20 lbs that I've never completely lost from having my kids (my youngest is 9 now...oops it's been awhile) by summer. Which seems like a realistic goal in terms of time and my age, ...

Looking forward to taking off 20 lbs that I've never completely lost from having my kids (my youngest is 9 now...oops it's been awhile) by summer. Which seems like a realistic goal in terms of time and my age, etc. I'm a single mom and tend not to take time to focus on me - not uncommon I know.

Keeping the nutrition journal is great and eye-opening...so far I have a hard time getting enough calcium and keeping my sodium levels in an acceptable range. I'm definitely been a much more conscious eater when journaling. Not just in what I eat, but also in making my meals more well-rounded (I'm not a big carb eater). I've only once had all my water, but since we got a dog I'm getting all my exercise (walking and I've taken up tennis and even joined a team). I need to focus more on keeping a food diary consistently. I've been a sporadic runner and biker in my adult life and have really enjoyed yoga in the past. Super glad to be here and I'm really impressed with the SP site and community.

"Living a life isn't only having a job that is terrific, satisfying and exciting; it's loving people for who they are; it's not being judgemental; It's saving time for your family; Its's enjoying the things that matter to you; Its' giving help to those less fortunate; Its's protecting the environment so we can enjoy the seasons and feel the renewal of life that spring brings; Its's dancing and laughing and remembering those who paved the way" --Katie Hurley
