In the last couple months, I have decided that it is finally time that I step up and do something(s) really good for myself. Being a wife and mother with a full-time career leaves very little time for ME, but I have finally realized that it is necessary that I take the time to take care of myself (physically, nutritionally and mentally) so that I will be able to continue taking good care of those who depend upon me.

I joined SparkPeople to take advantage of the free Nutrition Tracker tool, but have found so much more! I look forward to meeting my goal of becoming a truly healthy person and creating a healthy lifestyle for myself and my family, one step at a time!

Fitness Minutes: 2,940

My Goals:
-10K: 3/24/12- I will run the Azalea Trail Run for the second time. I hope to beat my time for 2011's race (1:05:32).

-Half Marathon: 4/15/12- I will run my first ever half marathon. I will be satisified to finish in under 2:25:00 (pace: 11 min/mile), but am striving to finish in 2:11:00 (10 min/mile).


My Program:
- Running
-Tuesday & Thursday: Run/Walk for 30 minutes (3 min run:1 min walk); Goal - to increase pace of running.
-Saturday or Sunday: Long Run

-Weight Training:
-Monday: P90X Legs (half) & Ab Ripper
-Wednesay: P90X Chest/Back (half) & Ab Ripper
-Friday: P90X Chest/Arms (half) & Ab Ripper

-Nutrition: Entering all consumed foods into food diary to determine overall nutrition; making adjustments as necessary.

    Hey girl! Glad to see you back! Rob and I are well. We had to get rid of the chickens while I was in grad school and now we're moving, but once we're settled the chickens will be back!

    So glad to here I was able to help! It was a learning process for both of us. I can totally relate to the complete change in grocery shopping habits. I've heard great things about Eat to Perform! (I'm poking around their website now, lol). I'm glad you have found what is working best for you.
