I'm 25, I started on Sparkpeople in 2007, lost about 40 lbs and then lost momentum. I came back after a while and lost more weight and got down to about 235 right before my wedding in 2010. Now it's Summer 2011, I've been married 1 1/2 years and have gained a majority of the weight back.

I lost quite a lot of weight years ago doing atkins. It worked for me and I really looked great but I still felt like the fat girl inside. I didn't do it right and it didn't stick for very long. The low carb way is good for some, but there are a few things wrong with it, (for me) and I really don't think I could do it that way ever again.

I've realized I am definitely a FOOD ADDICT. I use food to make me forget stress and painful feelings. I know I go through cycles of compulsive overeating, and then if I really try it only takes me a few days to get my mindframe back to where I can eat more restrictively. It is possible. I know how easy it can be to forget the difference between HUNGER and "hunger."

I will try to eat to fuel my body rather than because I am bored or anxious. I will try not to let negativity seep in.

I have a wonderful husband who is extremely supportive. So hopefully I will be successful in getting the body back that I had when we met. (Or maybe an even better body)

I will go in small stages of weight loss rather than have one big goal a year from now. I still plan to base my success mainly on how I FEEL and how I LOOK as opposed to the number on the scale.

My Goals:
I just want to be healthier and I want to be in great shape. I used to be in really good shape and I would like to get back to that and even surpass it.

I will keep my goals at 10-20 lb increments and I will keep them to a realistic time frame.

I want to fit in all my cute smaller size clothes again! I want to look amazing and I want to FEEL GREAT!
