Looking For Encouragement

I've sort of lucked into and out of a healthy weight so far and I'd like to take control of my physical as well as mental health.

My life is something of a mess as I'm struggling with anxiety, depression, sleep problems, poor eating habits, my weight and general lack of fitness, and now that I've gotten a job and am going back to school I'm finding it hard to make time for my health.

I'd really like to turn things around and feel as good about my health and my body ...

Thanks for commenting on my blog! I have to say, your intro is spot on (at least, that's my experience). I took control of my life by taking control of my body (and eating habits) and started goal setting regularly.. and everything in my life fell into place! I went from a morbidly obese semi-infertile woman who was unhappy in her job and a college drop out... to a college graduate, a mother, a very happily employed domestic violence advocate, and a woman who is content in her own skin! (Sorry to go on a tangent there, but I'm excited for you.. and I know you can do this!!)

I hear ya! I know stress is a killer for me. I do find that if I am exercising I feel better I have more energy during the day and sleep better at night. Being unemployed is not fun and it can really make dealing with other things hard due to stress. I try to just deal with stress as best I can and try not to sweat too much of anything even the big stuff. You can only do what you can and stuff won't change just because you are stressed about it. So do what you can and deal with the rest. Know you are not alone! emoticon

Thanks for stopping by my blog. You are SO right. There are lots of other more ACCURATE ways to measure success than my scales. Might just have to banish them for awhile. :-)

Hope you're doing alright! You've already lost over 3lbs, I can see from your tracker. That's awesome! Keep up the good work!
