Thank you for reading my blog. Do get going! I ran the Race for the Cure this morning and as I crossed the finish line I cried -- first because I ran almost the entire 5K and second because my mother was overweight and diabetic, her heart gave out at age 66 on the surgical table where she was having a mastectomy for breast cancer. She would never know that her daughter could achieve such a thing and never know that her beautiful granddaughter grew up to inspire me. Please -- I see your pictures of what appears to be beautiful grandchildren. Don't leave them with an early death because you just couldn't get started on the road to health. Stay on sparkpeople and let us inspire you!
