You are smart to get this under control for your health and as a good example of kicking the sugar addiction. For the kids usually fruit will get them healthy eating and ice water. It is easier to do that in the summer months. I was 225 when I found the spark book, I joined with an old PC and I had never used one.
I am 70 now and I am diabetic. It is no fun and dire consequences if you cannot keep it in control. Take care. If there is any blood sugar issues you might need to use the diabetic tracker. There is so much in there to educate yourself. If it is in the family , do try to get the kids eating and drinking healthier. Thanks to Spark people I am off my diabetic medication. 768 days ago

I was a member of Weight Watchers for about 2 years and lost 38 pounds on that , then our meeting got cancelled and because I live in a rural area there were no meetings near me to go to ! . I joined Spark but had it firmly in the back of my mind that online dieting cant work I needed REAL PEOPLE ! I slowly connected with people here that really clicked also with me ! It took awhile I joined a lot of teams and couldnt find my spot ,but now I found some friends that mean a lot to me and I know they are as real as any person at my Weight Watchers Meeting ! I know you can do this ! Baby steps are important and also do not beat yourself up if you arent perfect who is ? I have a few friends here on Spark that lost a ton of weight and the road wasnt easy for them either ! I even picked on to be my HERO ! Good Luck on your Journey but you wont need it !
