2015 - The Year of Small Changes

I've deleted old photos, introductions...everything but the old blog entries. Why? Because this is a new start. A new weight-loss journey that I do not need to compare to previous endeavors.

I'm 33 and live in Tennessee with my boyfriend B and a herd of cats. I suffer from PCOS, anxiety, and chronic depression. I work from home on the computer all day, which certainly contributed to my recent weight gain.

Starting off with small changes and hoping to build on those as ...

Thanks for your comment! I sure will let you know how the sauce goes, assuming I end up doing it. The recipe I've been using in the crock pot version definitely uses a lot of soy sauce (half a cup!), but its for a bit amount of chicken and also you NEED liquids in a crock pot. So, I'm just going to have to experiment a bit!
Also, in my book, the stuff at the store is SO FREAKY! OMG what is IN THERE??? Mine only has five ingredients and none of them are creepy so I figure that's not so bad.
Will let you know! :)
Oh, and on a side note, there is a nutritionist at the university I work at who I go to and doesnt really give me a lot of help with food stuff actually, (mostly use her for support and her fancy scale), but she did tell me that she went to a conference recently and the new idea nationally is that we should increase sodium allowances by quite a bit. Obviously not to people with high blood pressure, etc, but yeah. Who knows, but I do LIKE the idea because its so hard to keep sodium in the correct range, plus its hard for me to track!
