I am taking weight loss slow, but not easy! I started by incorporating small, healthy habits.. just getting outside & active 10 minutes per day. I started by writing down everything I ate, but not tracking calories.

Now, I track all of my food and exercise almost 10 hours a week. 3 hours strength training, 1 hour yoga, and the rest is cycling/hiking. And I'm lovin' it!

I'm only aiming to lose between half a lb and 1 lb per week. I won't go hungry. I have days where I make bad choices, but so far I've always picked right back up the next day. My partner, kanada10, is always there to remind me to do so, and I'm so grateful for that.

My Goals:
I'd love to get to a weight and fitness level at which I'm comfortable with my body, energy, and lifestyle.


My Program:
I am making an effort to personally prepare almost all of my foods so I can vouch for the quality and ingredients.

I am focusing on loving life and loving exercise. I live in an area with some great trails for cycling and hiking, and I take full advantage of those. I generally either bike 10-15 miles per day, or hike 45-60 minutes per day. I also do strength training 3x per week.



Personal Information:
Born and raised in TN, I now happily reside in the midwest. I love cycling, hiking, cooking/baking, crafts, reading, and animals. I am currently working on my BA in Social Work, and hope to one day have a career helping the elderly get the resources they need to live comfortably and happily.

    Yeah! Way to go. So glad you're feeling better all the time and losing like crazy! Way to go! That is a lot of work. I started about the same time you did... 8-9 weeks... this is always my "bump"-- do I stay with it or quit? Well this time QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION!! We're sticking with it girl!
