My Journey to Healthy Living

I started putting weight on in my late 20s, when before I was 110lbs, slim, active and eating very healthfully. I have lost and gained weight so many times over the years and I'm pretty tired of saying that this time it will be different.

My Goals:
- Get out of bed on time and commit to at least 10 minutes of exercise a day.
- Walk outside at least twice a week.
- Weigh and measure everything I put in my mouth.
-Be gentle with myself and realize that I am human and have human emotions.

My Program:
-I am using SparkCoach's Consistency and Motivation plan.
- I am following SparkPeople's menu plans and using SparkRecipe's recipes. I am eating delicious food!
- I am using Coach Nicole's workout videos and supplementing with other fitness DVDs.

Other Information:
I love to make my own jewellery. I love movies, and science fiction/fantasy novels.

Remember the Seinfeld Game? Remember how quickly Jerry, Kramer and Elaine all were out? Let's see if you can do better. Here is how it works.

Beginning midnight April 1, track. Track everything. Nutrition, water, exercise, the whole shebang. Don't track something, you are out. Fess up. Miss your 8 cups of water, out. Blow your calories, you are out. Fess up on this thread. Exercise without tracking, out. To make it fun, don't exercise at least one hour a week, out.

Once a week on Sundays (say), roll call for those who still are "in" and playing.

Deceptively simple, but it's not. Who's in? Starting roll call this Sunday. Ready, set, go!
