I've tried the "refrigerator oatmeal" for the first time a couple days ago and have been having it every morning since. Yesterday, I heated it in the microwave for a minute and a half. It was very good that way too. You can add anything you want to it. Right now, I'm adding raisins, cinnamon, and pure maple syrup. I put on walnuts in the morning and use skimmed milk for the fluid. It's what I have on hand.
I like the idea of the kale salad and that you can put dressing on it and it won't wilt. When my CSA gives me kale again, I will try it out. 2153 days ago
