My Goals:
To become consistent with a well-rounded fitness program to gain optimum health and wellness.

To become a better skiier and keep up with my family and friends on the ski slopes.

To pursue my various sports interests and enjoy the outdoor Colorado lifestyle.

To maintain my weight, gain muscle and improve my bone density.

To look great and live my best life!




My Program:
Cardio: 5 days per week, including running, hiking and cross country skiing in the winter.

Strength training: 2 days per week.

Yoga: one day per week

Downhill skiing: 2 days per week, Nov - April.

Personal Information:
I am lucky to live in Aspen, CO! I am 54, married to a ski instructor and fitness fanatic, with a daughter who is just starting college. I'm also a music teacher and a classically trained vocalist.

Other Information:
I love classical music, Broadway, reading, knitting and spending time with friends and family. We moved to Colorado from NY 20 years ago to live our dream! Life is Good!

I've tried the "refrigerator oatmeal" for the first time a couple days ago and have been having it every morning since. Yesterday, I heated it in the microwave for a minute and a half. It was very good that way too. You can add anything you want to it. Right now, I'm adding raisins, cinnamon, and pure maple syrup. I put on walnuts in the morning and use skimmed milk for the fluid. It's what I have on hand.

I like the idea of the kale salad and that you can put dressing on it and it won't wilt. When my CSA gives me kale again, I will try it out.
