January 2015 Have energy to be productive at work, enjoy sewing every week, spend time with friends. Maintain weight and flexibility as I age gracefully.
Continue cardio 4X week. Strength training using what I have at home 2 X week. Be aware of my nutrition and eat 7-9 fruits/veg daily. Track Bible reading and Dairy intake. January 2015 Yep...September 2015
My name is Joyce. I live in a small town in the Missouri Ozarks. Children are all grown. Hubby is medically retired. I continue to work full time evenings in a hospital setting.
Asob Falls was a favorite stop on a frequent childhood trip. I hope these pleasant memories of climbing around on rocks and watching the water fall will keep me motivated to check back regularly.
Thanks for coming by my page; sorry for the late add. Re: KonMari; no, I haven't really started in earnest and probably never will. She's just too much of a minimalist for me! I did buy the second book, which helps. I use her ideas about sparking joy and it being OK to let things go, and those help a lot. But as for bringing every item of clothing in my entire house into the room and sorting through them one by one, I don't think I'll ever be that dedicated. Maybe. Maybe not. :-) I also like Organizing From the Inside Out, by Julie Morganstern. It too talks about the mental struggles of living with clutter vs. it being a purely "mechanical" problem. Give her a read. :-)
