Do not quit, do not quit, do not quit......

Hi. I'm Chrissy.

I tried this once......and well, fell so far off the wagon that I had trouble finding it again! I did well last year (March-May 2011) for about 2 months.....then it was all downhill from there. This week (January 9, 2012) I am at it again. I am to the point of complete disgust with my body and WILL make it happen this time. I'm not aiming to be skinny, I am aiming to be content with my body - whether it's 15lbs or 40lbs that I need to shed. And I REALLY need ...

So, here I go again!
Wish me luck.....I need all the support, motivation, and assistance I can get!

Hey, girl! Thanks for the comment on my blog.

I've tried for YEARS to get myself to get up early and workout but have never been successful at it until recently. I just finally told myself that if this is really important to me then it's time to treat it that way. It started with making myself go to bed early, so that when my alarm went off I had the energy or at least could talk myself into getting up. Once I made that consious choice the mornings weren't that bad. It was like, I'd already given up some of my evening "down" time to go to bed and that was all the push I needed to get up in the morning.

Also, I tried, when I roll over in the morning, to remember that I am lucky in so many ways, and several dealing specifically with working out. I'm lucky that I don't have to be at work until 7:45 so I can get up in the morning, I'm lucky that I have a healthy and able body, I'm lucky that I can just go to my basement to workout instead of driving to a gym, etc. I think it's all in our perspective (and changing our negative perspective at times) and reminding ourselves of what really is important. I love to sleep, but is one more hour really going to make that much of a difference? As much of a difference as using that hour to help my body be more healthy?

So, there's my long winded response! :) I tried to make it shorter, but I had a detailed discussion with myself and I think it all added up to make a difference for me! LOL Good luck! You can do it!

A friend and I are saving up to split the cost of the Turbo-Fire workout set. I am super excited to start it.
Insanity is going ok..not as regular as I'd like though.
Thanks for checking in with me! I appreciate it ;)
