I am a 26 year old woman who has been working as a registered nurse for the past four years. I have always struggled with my weight, have been on crash diets but have not consolidated my habits into lifelong healthy eating habits. This is my time! I am ready to do this, I am in a great place in my life, and there is no turning back- even though I am scared to DEATH about this losing weight thing!

My Goals:
My goals are simple really;

* To make this not about a DIET but about a permanent LIFESTYLE change. That is what will sustain me and help me to accomplish this.

* Be healthier so that I can have a fulfilling life without health problems

* To lose my "above-the-belly-button" fat that is a leading factor in heart disease and diabetes

* To get down to a manageable weight that I can sustain for my life

My Program:
Starting out basic, because I need basic!

* Focus on learning healthy eating habits

* Start exercising cardio three times per week for 30 minutes per day

Personal Information:
I am a registered nurse living in good ole' Canada eh! Love nursing, playing the piano, and spending time with loved ones

Other Information:
I am finally in a satisfying relationship- not based on what I look like, but based on WHO I AM- to find a man that loves me for who I am, not how "small" I am has really started me on my way to WANT to become thinner and healthier. Because this time it is not for materialistic reasons, but for health reasons. And let me tell you, when you are in this place, there is nothing like it.

    Alright girl, where you at? Come back to me. I've gotta have someone keep on me! :-) I know, it's only been a day since my last comment, but I figure if I bug you enough, you might be a loser and get on all the time like I have been. lol

    Yeah. We should keep on each other a little more. :-) This morning I didn't do too bad, I went out to eat at a business meeting and I got granola and fruit. So I think that was a pretty good choice. I was going to go to the gym on the way home, but it was raining super hard and I didn't have an umbrella in my car, so I just decided to go home instead. My job is about to change. I was working at a daycare that decided to temporarily close down. They want to keep me and my assistant on so we are going to be doing manual labor (helping them remodel and reorganize and such). So maybe I'll be getting a little more activity. How are you?

    Well...I've done it. I've started completely over. Hope it isn't a pain in the butt for anyone. I really feel like I needed a new beginning though.

    well...I'm back from new york, and I'm feeling a bit refreshed. I also lost 2 pounds while I was there (because I literally walked everywhere)! Anyway, how are you? We need to get back into it. Have you been doing well with your goals?

    So...I'm seriously considering starting all over. Like, getting a new username and just starting with a clean slate. But we still need to be friends if we do! I'll let you know what I decide!
