I started this journey of a new lifestyle about 3 years ago. I started not knowing if I was going to succeed or if I was going to stick with it. However now a year later I can say that fitness and eatting right have become part of my daily life. I love it! I love feeling amazing everyday and having the energy to keep up with not only my school work but also my friends...and my life.

My name is Ashleigh and I started this journey at 216 pounds. My highest weight in my life. Almost a year later I am down to 185, and although a year ago i had hoped to loose more....i feel like it doesnt matter as much what I weigh but it matters more about how I feel about myself. I am so happy, self-confident, and motivated now that its hard to think of myself having ever been any other way.

To everyone starting out...be strong and find confidence with in yourself because it will carry you through even the roughest times. You are a beautiful person who CAN do anything that you put your heart into!

My Goals:
Fit into an awesome pair of pants that I bought 3 years ago and could never fit into.

Stay motivated and on top of things!!!

Burn 3500 calories a week (aka a pound a week)



My Program:
1. I drink lots of water. For a bare minimum I fill up four plastic water bottles a day and make sure I drink them by the end of the night. (its 8 servings)

2. Log everything that I put in my mouth ( I use the Spark App which lets me track on the go)

3. Billy Blanks Bootcamp for the burn...and boy does it burn. LOL

4. I laugh a lot!!! Every day put on a smile it makes the day brighter

I am 5'5

22 years old

A Pennsylvania college student full-time and I live on campus :)

NCIS is my weakness as well as CSI and that hunkie man on White Collar....

    Hey girl! I sure have missed you! :) :) Glad to hear from you.

    The husband is doing great. He just started track season with his kids....not his favorite season (He would rather coach baseball), but it's a lot less time consuming than football, so I'm happy to have him around more. :)

    My baby boy is turning TWO next month! I can't believe it! He's talking up a storm and loves to sing, dance and is just a joy to have. I'm a really blessed mama.

    Glad to hear you are doing well and back on here. Sorry that last semester kicked your butt but now you're that much closer to graduating emoticon School is going OK for me. Last semester kicked my butt too but i survived. Hopefully I'll be done at the end of this year but boy, that cannot come fast enough. All in good time, i guess. Stop by the thread at any time, even if just for a quick hello. We miss you on there and would love to hear from you whenever.

    Thanks for stopping by. I am trying so hard to start but keep letting stuff get in the way. I had to start working at McDonald's this month because my husband is on his last semester and will be graduating in college and he had to cut back his hours to study. Only thing that was hiring was there and it is so hard not to eat while you are on your break. I want to get healthy again so bad. That's why I starts getting on Sp more often and reading the stories. Reading all these stories always got me back on track.
