I've struggled with my weight from a very young age and my body has gone through a series of extreme fluctuations throughout the years, and over the past few years the pounds have just piled on and refused to budge. Currently, I am with a BMI of 37 I am sitting at obese (and very much so), which really knocked my socks off when I found out. My overall goal is to reach a healthy weight for my height and transform from an awkward, stumpy 5'0 to a graceful, comfortable-in-her-own-skin woman.

Getting started has never been hard for me, but going the distance and reaching a goal, and harder yet - maintaining it, are really difficult for me. I believe I can do this; it will be tough but I know I can achieve this goal if I put my heart into it. I'm just taking it a day at a time, even when I make mistakes, I'm going to keep on going and not let anything hold me back anymore. Anything is possible if you just have the courage to hope, work, and believe.

My Goals:
Weight Loss Goal: Lose 63lbs.

Career Goal (Classroom Assistant): Be more organised, assertive, and follow through.

Personal Goal: Read more books!

Fitness Goal: Become more flexible (Yoga, Pilates), Leaner, Stronger (strength training), fitter (cardio)!!

Nutrition Goal: Eat better!

Body Goal: LOVE mine!

Just bought my own weights, ball, and step to do some extra work at home!

I have set up my own personal goals, and mini-goals to help me reach those big ones :)

~ get re-motivated - check!
~ get back on track with monitoring my efforts (and lack of!) - check!
~ start losing some lbs - awaiting results =P
~ CHANGE MY LIFE! =D - currently underway ;)

My name is Ashleigh and I'm 25 years old. I work as a 1-1 classroom assistant which I LOVE. I am a vegetarian and animal enthusiast! :) I love to read and listen to music, as well as watch TV - so I spend far too much time sitting around, which I'm trying to change! ;) I volunteer with a program for autistic kids/teens working with horses at weekends, so I have a busy but happy schedule!
