Hey! I realize I never got back to you - read my blog from Oct 25 to get an idea about what our challenge is about - Ultra low carb 6.5 days a week, and then a treat night - not "cheat" - because it's required, not something to feel guilty about! The splurge in carbs actually causes a reaction in your body (insulin spike) to get your fat burning faster (because at ultra low carb for too long, the effect lessens and can actually be bad for you). I'm now down 8.2 lbs in 5 weeks (which is over 5% body weight), and of the 8.2 lbs, 5.7 of it is fat (based on my body-fat measuring scale, which isn't 100% accurate, but does give me a baseline). Hi! Thanks for checking in! Well, I started my new wellness challenge with my gym this past Sunday, which is great because I have a problem sometimes sticking to eating clean. Can you please tell all of your lost pounds that I have no more room on my @$$ for them and they can kindly find another home to dwell in! If I gain one more pound, I may have a mental breakdown!!! Stupid prednisone!!!
