Keep the momentum going!

My journey began Aug 06, I lost 25 lbs by Jan 07 and then my life changed drastically, for the good though :-)
I met the love of my life, we built a wonderful life together, had a daughter together and we are happily raising our sons and daughter together.
But as things got busier I let all my Spark habits slip and put back on the 25 lbs plus another 10 for good measure.

But as things got busier I let all my Spark habits slip and put back on the 25 lbs plus another 10 for good measure.
In Sept 12 I was going through some things at work and felt the desire to run away, so I figured I should take up running instead. I LOVE IT! I am still slow and haven't run very far, I've been struggling with shin splints.
But it kicked off the need to be healthy again.
My goal is to get to 150/size 10. When I get there I'll see if a weight of 140 (my previous weight in Jan 07) is realistic.
I'm making healthy changes for me, my husband and our children.

Update 6.26.14: I gave up running :-( I had horrible shin splits and stress fractures, after months of physical therapy, new shoes, compression socks and countless other things I threw my money at I gave it up and decided I needed to try lower impact things and get into better shape before I took on running, I just haven't been able to do any other exercise consistently. I need motivation and help!

1200-1550 calories per day.
A min of 10 minutes of exercise 5x a week, but with a goal of 2 gym class per week and 20-30 min of cardio or strength the other days.

Hey! I realize I never got back to you - read my blog from Oct 25 to get an idea about what our challenge is about - Ultra low carb 6.5 days a week, and then a treat night - not "cheat" - because it's required, not something to feel guilty about! The splurge in carbs actually causes a reaction in your body (insulin spike) to get your fat burning faster (because at ultra low carb for too long, the effect lessens and can actually be bad for you). I'm now down 8.2 lbs in 5 weeks (which is over 5% body weight), and of the 8.2 lbs, 5.7 of it is fat (based on my body-fat measuring scale, which isn't 100% accurate, but does give me a baseline). I feel great! I hope you're doing well, too!
