Hey there! I have been on Sparkpeople since 2008. To be honest, I have fallen much more than I have been successful but I keep trying. Since 2008 I had lost about 20 lbs and kept it off until I got married in October 2013. Slowly, I have seen the pounds pack back on. I don't want to fall into bad habits so I am trying my hardest to get back on track and lose what I gained plus some!

Restarting AGAIN on 8/18/14

My Goals:
Short term goal: Lose 10 lbs by August 2014!

Mid-term- lose 30 lbs by Christmas 2014

Long term-Be in the 140's by next summer!

My Program:
II stick to:

3 small meals and 3 snacks daily.

-1300-1500 calories a day

- Gym work outs w/ strength training 3x per week. 2 times per week elipical at home.

-8 glasses of water or more a day

-at least 5 fruits and veggies a day

-No eating after 8pm


Personal Information:
I am from the little old state of DE but just moved to Maryland just minutes from the DE line. At least I can say that I've lived in 2 different states! lol

Lets make next week out of town count and at least get some fitness minutes in! We can do it together! I'll be out of town Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Are you gone the whole week?

My husband has a coworker and he's in a long line of Howard's. That has to be super hard when u have no choice what to name your baby. They are 3 weeks ahead of us and naming the baby Howard.

Thanks for reading my blog and showing your support! One thing that helped me was just going day by day. Some nights I would have a craving to snack before bed and I just kept telling myself that I can eat breakfast as soon as I wake up. That usually helped enough to get me through. Good luck restarting today. Remember today is just another chance to get it right. You can do it! :D

I've heard St. Lucia is a beautiful place. Maybe someday I'll get to go there. And don't beat yourself up too hard. 5 lbs is better than none!! This is a tough journey and if you gotta start over then you gotta start over. You can do it!!!!
