Hey there! I have been on Sparkpeople since 2008 but really didn't start utilizing it until 6/2009. I have lost a total of 30 lbs since that time. I am not focusing on the time that it takes me to lose the weight...but what am I learning through this journey. Food has always been my worst enemy but I am learning to use it as my friend. By choosing healthier options that will keep me fuller longer and feeling stronger, and exercising as much as I can, I am going to win this battle!

Short term-Be down to 190 by 3/1/12 ** DONE**

Mid term-Be down to 160 by 6/2013

Long term-Be in the 140's at some point.

My Program:
II stick to:

3 small meals and 3 snacks daily.

-1300-1500 calories a day

- Gym work outs w/ strength training 3x per week. 2 times per week elipical at home.

-8 glasses of water or more a day

-at least 5 fruits and veggies a day

-No eating after 8pm


Personal Information:
I am from the little old state of DE but just moved to Maryland just minutes from the DE line. At least I can say that I've lived in 2 different states! lol

How's your week going? Sorry I've been kinda MIA on here lately. I haven't been motivated to spark, and that was reflected in my eating habits yesterday. How are things going for you?

I am back on track this week and it feels so good. I always forget how icky and lethargic I feel when I eat whatever I want instead of tracking. Blech!

Sounds like a great weekend to me!! Go girl! That mileage each day is impressive! :)

My weekend was okay. Definitely overate on Saturday & Sunday, as usual, but tracked it and plan on hitting zumba hard this week. I was so bummed that I wasn't able to see 202 on Saturday's weigh-in. Hopefully I can see 202 at least this Saturday.

Yeah, at B,B, & B is where she followed us around and suggested things or said "you don't really need this or that". It was helpful with dishes and silverware, but everything else it was annoying. We made a follow-up appt. with her for next Friday 31, and I think I am going to say we don't need assistance with the rest lol.
