LOL, well not sure I would say 'love to cook' but I do call myself a budding foodie. Honestly the majority of my current weight loss has been from me avoiding all the packaged processed foods and making what I can from scratch. Things like marinara, mayonnaise, pesto, hummus, bread, vinaigrette, rice-a-roni...I can control what ingredients are going in and not consuming any needless preservatives or chemicals. Not to mention the hidden added sugar! There are some brands of mayonnaise that add sugar to it! I'm telling you, start reading the list of ingredients, it sure is an eye opener! Like all the different forms corn syrups and other sugary items companies put in their processed foods because one form of sugar isn't enough for them.
Susie still lives here but, she spends a lot of time in Montana visiting and helping my sister Julie with her animals. Three cats and a scardy cat dog Paloma. Julie works full time and her husbands job is 5 hours away so only gets home everother weekend. She gets lonely so Susie helps her out. Julies husband will retire after July of 2015 so Susie will not have to spend as much time out there. Now it will be just pleasure visits. I too have been struggling this whole year. This lifestyle change is not easy but we have to keep at it or pay the consequences. Have a great week Lee.
